Ive been using the Precise Digital zoom which gives you extra focus on the optical zoom. Macro focus works well and it is a simple camera to use. Charges from computer or Mobile phone wall charger via usb. Definitely recomend purchasing this ultra Compact camera.

Compact and versatile
Very easy to use, but I've upgraded from a Sony DSC W 630, so features are familiar. Now a plastic rather than aluminium body, time will tell how well it lasts. The quality Zeiss lens is a plus and for a camera with a small sensor, helps to produce a sharp picture. A great "take it with you everywhere just in case you see something interesting" camera, when it's not always possible to take a DSLR with you. Set on Auto Intelligent, the results are usually spot on. Panorama sweep feature produce top results with a bit of practice. My preference is to use the camera in the 'portrait' position for this, as long narrow shots are more difficult to later edit. Picture files, 4:3, are about 19 MB, which allows for cropping to still extract a good image. The back screen can be glarey in direct sunlight - but so is the one on my DSLR. A great little back-up camera, which performs admirably and can produce excellent images.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
